Green circular UAP at Warrumbungle National Park
Location: Warrumbungle National Park, New South Wales, Australia

Time: 28th January 2024 between 1am and 2am

Debated whether to post this or not as I have absolutely no photographic evidence for you, but keen to see if others have also seen this.

Went camping on the Australia Day weekend this year with a mate to the Warrumbungles out in western NSW. At about 1am or later my friend was lying on a blanket on the grass looking at the sky and I was on a camping chair (so, NOT looking up) and he points up and goes "What is that?!"

I only had a few seconds to look at it before it took off.

It was circular, and it emitted green light. That very specific colour of green light that you see on airport runways. I believe it had one green light right in the middle, plus rings of green lights radiating outward, but whatever it was was incredibly high up and far away, thus hard to make out details. Circular and green. 

It was completely stationary for a few seconds before it suddenly began moving very fast in a straight line over the top of the horizon. No noticeable acceleration; just, static, then suddenly cruising at breakneck speeds.

We don't actually know how big it was or how far up it was, but watching hobbycraft the next day (little Cessnas and such that only get up to about 4000 feet), and contrasting that to how distant this object appeared to be based on how much of its features we could make out and the manner in which it dipped oved the horizon, I suspect it was absolutely huge. Like, not so much in the range of a 737; more on the scale of a very large building at least.

Neither of us have reported this anywhere other than telling a few peoppe verbally, and none of the UAP photos/videos I've seen online look like what I saw. Nothing man-made can move like that except for MAYBE a drone, and its illegal to fly drones more than 120m off the ground over national parks here.
