Strange Activity Caught on Earthcam Live-Palm Beach, 04/30/25

Tonight, I randomly started watching Earthcam Live Palm Beach, and as I was scrolling back a couple of hours, I noticed some really strange activity.  

First, at 11:44 PM, someone shoots two flares off the beach in front of the hotel. Whatever, no big deal – just some kids playing with flares. 

At 11:58 PM, something resembling a drone shoots vertically into the sky from a hotel a few doors down. 

At 12:02 AM on 04/30, the drone appears back in the sky, heads out over the ocean, zigzags a bit, there’s a green illumination on the cloud behind it as it moves out to sea, then it trails back towards the shore and literally bursts into a ball of white light! The giant white light then descends towards the hotels, and suddenly disappears or implodes or something.

If this is a hobbyist drone, then can someone please explain to me why it suddenly bursts into a giant white orb? I know there will be a ton of people who view this video and say, “well, that’s just a drone with a really bright light on it, which you see better when it swivels, and it’s a crappy webcam so there’s light artifacting.”  Did I just answer my own question?  But if anybody was viewing this event in Palm Beach tonight, then I’d like to hear your thoughts.
