Blue Orb.. lens flare?

Blue Orb.. lens flare?
I took these pictures last night and when I looked at them I noticed this bizzare distortion. I remember seeing the blue orb at the time but quickly lost sight of it and forgot about it until I looked at these photos. Wasn't sure if it was simply a strange lens flare or not but thought I'd share. The 2nd photo was taken seconds before the first and the blue orb is visible at a higher position in the sky.
