Possible Sighting Omaha NE
Time: 9/29/23 at approximately 12:00 pm
Location: Omaha NE, near I80 bridge 

I have debated sharing this for many months now. Please prepare yourself for a very boring, maybe, sighting. It is the reason I became interested in this sub reddit though while looking for answers. This was September 29, 2023 closing on the  I80 bridge over Missouri River, driving East. Around noon. The passenger side south of the bridge, I caught sight of a metallic colored shape with some round edges. There were barely any clouds in the sky and none were near this shape. It seemed large at the time, but I truly have no reference. I cannot tell if it was close to me and small or larger and farther away. I tried to keep my eyes on this object for around 10 seconds. I could feel my heart rate going up. I've never seen anything like this in person before or since. Keep in mind I was traveling at interstate speed with a child and it wasn't safe to look at this object for as long as I did. I turned my eyes back to the road for a few seconds and then attempted to look it again, but i was nearing the end of the bridge. The object was just gone. Poof. That made me more unsettled than anything about this. No clouds in the sky anywhere near and it was just gone. I have since thought about this a lot. I have talked with only a very select few people about this because it was such a short sighting  and honestly makes me feel a little crazy. Since then, having watched some shows, followed this reddit etc, I belive that what I was seeing looked like a classic saucer type shape from an odd angle where I couldn't see the whole disc. This honestly makes myself question what I think I saw more because it seems like such an obvious shape. I question myself a lot on if my mind was filling in blanks etc. That Bridge is maybe 12 miles directly North of Offut AFB. Another reason it seems unlikely to me. I am curious if anyone has any experiences in the area. I haven't found a lot of sightings in general in Nebraska . I have seen a Northrop B2 in the area a couple of times over the years. I actually live less than 2 miles from the base so seeing planes is obviously very common. I have since paid a lot more attention the sky, as you can imagine. A few months after this, I saw one of those distant looking star type UFOs abruptly changing directions. This was at my house and I haven't seen anything since, even while star gazing is rural areas for camping etc. Any experiences in the NE/IA or thoughts would be welcome. Please be kind.
