Tall chalky white loving smiling male humanoid staring at me +++

I got my mail from a PO box,turned around looking down at a package slip and realized a tall "man" I hadn't noticed coming in, was standing very still facing me,not far away. I took 5 steps to the counter line(of 1 lady) where a woman was very busy with the postal clerk. I then Quickly glanced at the "man" and thought "OMG, is that a ghost?" He hadn't moved and was staring right at me with a closed mouth smile that was so spread across his face and so upward, it didn't look quite "right". I was not afraid at all,he radiated such friendliness, but I was Very confused!I stood for a minute,looked again and noted his short white hair was so white it seemed to blur and glow around the top of his head. He was very thin and had a long coat on that was very tailored like he was from a Big city(not the small casual rural place I was at). I couldn't think what to do!It was Hard to Think! I finally looked and smiled big back at him and profound joy enveloped me. I was in a shock-"wow" state. I backed several steps,out of the rather upset chaos going on at the counter where the other woman was complaining. I wasn't able to say hello or even ask his name but instead babbled about my day as I looked at him on and off. He telepathically spoke some simple things to me but then I "lost" a few minutes of time.I suddenly found myself saying I was cooking ahead,filled my pantry, and was freezing meals because I like to be Prepared. I felt like a total idiot because by then my whole body vibration and every brain cell had Told Me "He's Not Human!" His words that I Remember next were "that is a wise thing to do"(telepathically). Then his blue radiant shining large eyes looked sad,as the upset woman left(she did not look our way) and the clerk told us Both to come up and he'd get our packages! I noticed he did not have a package slip but a bright red envelope.weird. As I turned to leave,then glanced back I saw a him in a blur and rushed out to meet my husband standing outside. No one followed me out.I said nothing about it to my husband but asked if anyone followed me out and he said no. I looked back in the door and no one was there.I asked the clerk 3 days later and he Remembered asking the Two of us to come forward.
