Sighting in Baltimore

Sighting in Baltimore

I was outside, smoking, and decided to do some sky scanning as it was a very clear night with some small, fast moving, whispy clouds. I spotted my expected stars, planes ( there is regular passenger plane traffic. We're about 30/45 mins to a major airport ). 

Suddenly I do notice something odd. It appears star like, but it looked like it was descending down in a very straight, controlled line. I thought "probably just the effect of the clouds, I bet it's a satellite and I'm mis judging it's direction." So I wait for some of those fast moving close to get out of the way as they can distort your perception into thinking something is moving when it isn't etc. I realize right away I'm wrong. It's definitely in a downward motion like dropping in, not orbiting by. It then wiggled abruptly from left to right and back to center, lowered00 position and then held still. I think, okay this is definitely something weird. So I'm just watching it for a while. Weirdly not even thinking to grab my phone which is right there in my pocket. It gets weirder than that. 

I just stare at it for maybe 2 or 3 mins when I notice another one doing the same thing to the right of the first It descends much quicker, and as it's descending another-fucking-one does the same. These two lights ( orabs would be an apt description but very large ones as this appeared to be quite far away ) eventually did the same as the first - stopped and held position unmoving. 

If you drew lines connecting them you could have formed a triangle. They just sat there and I said out loud "Man, that IS weird" and just calmly watched them for a pretty long time never once thinking to grab my phone. 

It could have been 10 mins, it could have been 30 mins. Idk, I was feeling a little spacey at this point, pardon the pun, and just got bored because they weren't "doing anything", went inside and went right to bed. 

Man, wtf.
