Unexplained Drone in Saratoga Springs, NY

hi everyone. so on Monday evening, I'm outside collecting my mail and this super bright light is glimmering and gleaming low through the trees. it caught my attention because it was so bright and flickering through the tree line. then when I notice it start to rise (or perhaps just the illusion of rising as it flys closer... although it really seemed like it was rising), I take out my camera. 

unfortunately my camera cannot make out the craft so well in the lighting and the lens flare, however with my eyes I can see it is a triangular or like a flattened pyramidal type shape with that super bright light emanating from the center. with my naked eye while the light it just remarkably bright, it doesn't prevent me from seeing the outline of the craft and the craft certainly has this triangular quality to it. 

As it passes I can see that the prominent light is maybe not in the center, but one on one of the corners of the craft. as it flys off, that bright light fades out, but not off, or perhaps just was no longer shinning directionally towards me. 

this was super low, I would guess maybe 1 to 1.5 football fields up. it's definitely not a helicopter, and given how low it was and the shape that I could make out, wasn't a plane. any ideas what this could be? it feels a lot like the drones that were flying over New Jersey. thoughts? 

Notes: I do live near Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory (Ballston Spa) but I'm not sure what they do there. I know you need certain clearances to work there.
