What is this? Saw this at midnight last night in Sydney, Australia.

I walked outside to have a look at the sky last night and noticed an odd brighter area behind the clouds that almost looked like a white line sticking out? I was a bit confused on what I was looking at so I kept recording to see if anything would change as the clouds moved and if it’d become more visible but I’m just more confused.
