Some interesting objects in the sky
Hi all. Just a quick report of some strange (to me) activity in the sky.

Time: 10:45pm approx. 
Location: Western Ireland

So, I went out to get the cat. There was no wind and the sky was clear, so I took a few minutes to enjoy the night sky. We live in a rural area so there is little to no light pollution. 

I was looking towards the south when I saw a bright, quick flash around 80 degrees above the horizon. When I say quick, I mean it was like a camera flash. I see these fairly regularly and assumed they might be tumbling satellites. There's usually 30 to 90 seconds between flashes, but this time there were 3 flashes within approx 10 seconds and then there were no more and I waited around 15 minutes. There was some movement between flashes in that the object was moving somewhat slowly towards the north. At no point could I make out a source object. 

While I was watching the same area waiting for a repeat, I saw a red flash, a bit like an aircraft strobe, but dimmer. It flashed again in the same spot around 20 seconds later. There were no other lights visible and I can always hear jets pass over as well. 

The next oddity was about a minute later, but I think these may have been Starlink. There were 2 satellites about 20 degrees apart heading west to east around 40 degrees above the southern horizon. I've seen Starlinks travel in a train before, but this is the first time I've seen any travel in parallel.

The explanations may be prosaic, but it was an interesting 15 minutes.
