Orange orb over Los Angeles

Orange orb over Los Angeles

Location: Los Angeles 

My girlfriend and I quickly pulled over and filmed this orange “orb” for about a minute until it disappeared. To me it seemed to be a randomly pulsating ball of energy, which doesn’t come off as much in the video unless you zoom in. It did not look like a lantern. There was zero smoke and no sound.

About three seconds after the video ends, something shot across the sky so fast that me and my gf both shouted “WTF!!” and “Did you just see that?!” over and over. I regret not continuing filling the same spot just in case something else happened. I could not see what it was or where it came from, it was too dark but it reflected the moonlight and flew from left of the sky to the right. It was so fast that you would miss it if you blinked. If I didn’t have my gf with me I would have thought I imagined it because it was so briefly in sight.
