Make it make sense

I am hoping someone else may have some insight. Saturday evening I noticed a stranger plane close by my home. I have spotted a stationary bright object since December behind my apartments so I’ve been on the lookout for other sightings since the incursions began up north. When I took notice of the “plane” the colors it flashed changed and it literally changed shape into a saucer. My hubby and I pulled into a gas station directly under it and as soon as I acknowledged it, the saucer shot across the sky into the bright stationary light. The best way I can describe it is that it went through the light. It was all so surreal and terrifying that days later I’m still trying to understand. I would love to know what the hell is happening out here. I live in a very rural area in middle Tennessee.
