UFO Atmospheric Entry through night vision - Canyon Lake, TX - May 6, 2025 at 9:51PM
Was hiking under helmet mounted night vision binoculars at Canyon Lake TX (Near San Antonio/ Austin) with a friend, when we noticed and started filming with my phone (Samsung S24U) through the night vision device, what appeared to be the atmospheric entry of a large UFO. It looked like it enters the atmosphere, leaving a symmetrical pattern. This pattern increases and created what looked like a torx bit pattern before expanding further. Continuing toward the tree the light begins to dim some, and transitions into what seems to me to be angluar shaped small light, cannot see color through night vision. I know there is supposed to be a meteor shower tonight, but I've seen tons of meteors and comets, none have looked like that, and the space x launches and reentries I've seen are not similar either. I have never seen anything like this, and would love to understand what I saw a bit better. Thanks for any insight!
