Setting: Large (+\-300 acre) field 


I was headed back from the car wash. I was in my vehicle and saw a dove sitting on a power line in the driveway. Lots of them around here, I can’t explain why the bird caught my attention but it certainly did. I looked directly across from where the bird was sitting and boom. 

They don’t like cameras. It’s suspiciously ironic how the focus goes haywire the moment you zoom in on them. I have so much empathy now for all of you who have experienced this.

I wish like hell I could’ve got a better video and I know everyone’s going to be upset about that, but it was sudden. Once I saw it, I just threw up my camera and tried to take a couple of pictures. I then threw my phone down and I literally just tried to soak up the moment and be thankful I got to see it.. The videos that you’re gonna see are screen recordings of the same photos while “live”.
