Red pulsing orb flying over Kansas City, MO

I was walking my dog and saw what appeared at first to be a plane landing with a pulsing red light. I live in South Kansas City which is somewhat far from the airport so this caught my attention.  Aside from that, the light was pulsing from a low dim light to a bright red light with intervals of one second.  It pulsed like that the entire two minutes as it slowly moved directly over me…maybe 10,000-15,000 feet above?  It went almost in front of the half to full moon so it was very easy to see.  I’d describe it like a Jelly Fish.  The inner part of the jellyfish is where the glow was and I could clearly see an outer dome over it.  The object continued on the same trajectory and same speed over the course of the two minutes and there wasn’t a single noise associated with it.  Strangest thing I’ve ever seen.  Went from South South West to North North West
