NARRATIVE

Observed bright white flashing light similar to an aircraft strobe light.  Occurred as 3 single flashes about 5 to 10 minutes apart approximately 5 to 10 degrees east of the cup of the big dipper in the northern shy.  The flashes did not appear to change location in the 15 minutes observed.
