An oval, silver object was observed by many, including myself, while I was standing on the third floor stairs at Dyes AFB. This object had absolutely no lights, windows or any external emblems or military insignia's.

Object had an hazy and electrical  static and had a shimmering aura around it,  No noise or unusual mechanical sounds were heard.  
This object was proximity 300 hundred feet in the front view and above the ground.  
After observing this vehicle for over ten minutes, I decided to step into the barracks and ask my friend for a camera.  
Duration of approximately 15 sec's, during which the object vanished in a thin air without any trails or trace.  
This event was reported to the base commander and immediately rejected for a mistaken identity and labeled as a whether balloon.
