An object had taken off from my garden, leaving a long vapour trail, rising diagonally in line with the trees.

I was sat in my living room with curtains open when I looked up and saw what I thought was two moons.  I realised it was Mars behind the moon so went to the door to take a photo on iPad.  
As I was trying to focus on the moon I was aware of smoke/steam rising under my left arm in a straight, but diagonal, line.  Still not really taking notice, as I was concentrating on the moon, I didn’t follow the vapour trail with my eyes; but on looking at the two photos I noticed the vapour trail led to a small capsule-shaped object?  See photos.  I would be interested to know what it is and why it came from my garden!
