Saw two red/orange dots rising to the southeast; they weren't blinking like a plane, just slowly rising.

I frequency have insomnia. I woke up just after 1:00 am this morning, want to the bathroom, and couldn't go back to sleep. I went out to the backyard to bring in laundry from the clothesline, and was folding it, facing east.
 I glanced up and saw two red/orange dots rising to the southeast. They weren't blinking like a plane, just slowly rising. The dot on the left started to fade, and then disappeared, followed by the one on the right. This lasted about 15 seconds or so.
 A few minutes later, there was one dot rising in the same location. I was able to capture it on my cell phone.
 The Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is southeast of me, in the vicinity of where the dots were. Could this be something coming out of the base?
