Sighting of eight bright lights travelling in the night sky and vanishing into a cluster of stars

Relaxing in a hot tub and looking up at the night sky, I saw a light (no different to the light of a star), moving across the night sky and disappearing into a small cluster of stars. I followed back the trajectory of that light and there was another travelling at the same pace and disappeared in the same place.  This happened with six other lights that followed at the same distance from each other and in the same trajectory and all disappearing in the same cluster of stars.
 No object could be seen - only a light like as bright as a star.
 On that night, I saw planes travelling across the sky, with light blinking and travelling at a slower pace, so I am pretty sure the eight lights travelling were not planes.
 Date and time is approximate.  I know it was last year, but I cannot forget this experience and wanted to share it.
