Black sphere high in sky moving at fast speed

I was just going back into the office when I looked up at the sky towards the sun, there was a cloud in my direct line of vision - I noticed this black sphere moving past the cloud and continued moving (about 2500ft - 5000ft) - it was moving at a very fast and steady pace - not a bird, we often get eagles here flying high up but they are easy to distinguish. I ran indoors to find my camera, but knew I would possibly not see the black sphere due to the rate it was moving, which was the case. I could not see it once I went back outside. If it remained on course I would say it would pass over Dugualla park in Oak Harbor.
