NARRATIVE

II was about 10 years old and 8 pm was bedtime. I don't remember date but it was late dusk so I'm guessing early spring because it was clear out and was not cold. As i laid in bed i saw a bright ball of white light slowly move across the horizon from the direction of Wheyhauser land to the side field at our house. At that time i got up and insisted my mother look at it. It moved very slowly to the front yard, apx 50 yards in front of us as we went outside into the middle of the yard to watch. It was a huge ball of bright white light, apx the size of a car possibly 2 cars. It had no light radiating from it, no noise and no wind. We have no memory of anything other than standing there for what seemed like 5 or 10 minutes. We had no fear or anxiety, just curiosity during the event. It then slowly began to move away from us up the hillside. We rushed into the house and my mom called the neighbor to have them look as it went their direction, at that moment it shot away in a split second and was just gone. My mother says the 11 o'clock news was on when we came in. I don't remember that but i do remember that it was very dark by the time we came in and the neighbor was annoyed because they saw nothing and it was late and woke up their house calling.I was about 10 years old and 8 pm was bedtime.
