Linear formation of multiple white lights moving in unison evenly spaced viewed in the sky overhead

A linear formation of multiple (approximately 10) white lights was observed moving from the south to the north. The lights were evenly spaced and the sky was clear. They moved in unison and stayed in a straight line. One other witness observed the same phenomenon. The formation was not comprised of traditional known aircraft. There was no sound detected from the lights either. The lights did have a slight "twinkling" effect as far as brightness.
