Bright Orb, moving very slowly, changed course left in a smooth like fashion, doubled back on itself quickly, light remained but dimmed

Sighting at approx 0130 hrs in Treknow Cornwall which is a 10 minute walk to the coast. I was stargazing and to my left I saw the brightest light in the sky which immediately caught my attention as it wasn't there before. I thought it may have been a planet ,star or even the ISS (Checked and confirmed it wasnt) that had been covered by a passing cloud. I continued to watch as it appeared to be moving in my direction again I was unsure if it was moving at all or just maybe a cloud moving which gave the impression that this light was moving when it wasn't. However the light became brighter and it became apparent that it was moving, in my direction but extremely slowly. Again I continued to watch and it seemed to stop for about 1-2 minutes. At one point the light looked almost like there was a cross shape behined it? before it changed course to its left (my right as I watched) in a very smooth like manner the light then faded and looked like a moving satellite before it changed course again, doubled back on itself and disappeared. I am so annoyed that I didn't film it but I was genuinely scared that I didn't want to move but had to keep watching! It is worth noting that as the object moved in my direction and got closer, winds pick up very noticeably and then calmed when the object moved away.There was also no sounds from the object.I have been watching the skies for a long time and have seen some strange things but this compelled me to report it.
