Shape shifting tictac object on a clear day

I was floating on my back in my pool on a clear, hot day, there were very few wispy clouds in the sky. A white, tictac shaped object very slowly and silently moved into my line of sight. At first I thought it was a jet, but realized it was not leaving a trail and it was much lower in the sky, even closer to the ground than any plane I've seen go by. It suddenly began changing shape as if it were fluid - from tictac to two round bubbles connected in the middle - then one of the bubbles began to trail very short tendrils that made me think of jellyfish - both solid and fluid, transparent but as if it contained an inner substance. It smoothly returned to its original tictac shape, still slowly moving across my vision, and seemed to disappear into what little wispy clouds were at the back of my house. I got out of the pool and ran to my fence to see if it would appear again, but it was just gone.
