NARRATIVE

Standing in my back yard , I noticed a red/silver light well above the trees facing wnw. I first thought it an airplane. However it periodically moved very fast and in a very erratic manner all over the sky. I watched it for over 10 minutes. It flickered from red to bright white as it moved. No sounds at all. It occasionally dipped out of sight below the trees but came back very fast. I am an amateur astronaut. Definitely not Venus or a star. It moves way too much and way too fast.
It disappeared almost instantly
