Light about the size of a satellite, moving Side to side, up and down, small circles, and figure eights

At that point, it started moving in a very small, tight circle. It did that for about five minutes and then started going up and down for a few seconds before doing figure eights and then returning to small tight circles. I was talking to a friend on the phone and had my mother and sister look out and confirm that it was moving in weird ways impossible for a plane or satellite and was also getting brighter and dimmer
