two large glowing orbs that stopped in the sky, turned into a red star shape, turned transparent an fell directedly down vertically.

I live in North San Bernardino, witnessed two large, orange lights in the sky, to the east. the were pretty high and at first I thought that they may be helicopters. they were moving from southeast to north west. One stopped moving, went from a orange glowing orb to a red star, went transparent and dropped like a rock strait down and out of sight. the other continued for a few seconds and did the same.
