Bright star moving across sky unnaturally fast from directly above me to the horizon in about 10 seconds without dimming and was silent

My friend and I saw what looked like a bright white star moving unnaturally quickly across a clear night sky at ~8:15 pm in Chandler AZ. The object was first seen directly above us, then traveled over the horizon in less than 10 seconds. The object did not dim or burn out like a meteor but was persistently a bright white light. The object left no trail and made no sound. The object was moving too quickly to be a man-made satellite.
