NARRATIVE

I was looking in the sky when I noticed a very bright silver reflective round object close to the sun positioned at about 7 o’clock from the sun. As soon as I noticed it, the object started steadily moving southbound at approximately the speed of a fighter jet. About a half a second to a second later, the thing BOLTED. Faster than anything I’ve ever seen move. It was out of sight going South or SW within a second.
There is an air force base nearby, but there was no sound and no boom or anything, and the only other craft in the sky was a nearby passenger jet.
