V shaped white lights in clear sky moving in unison.

Looked up in my back garden and saw a large V shaped formation of white/star coloured lights. (noticeably bigger in diameter than stars). Appeared blurry to begin with but came into focus as if they were lowering altitude through mist or a layer of atmosphere (this was an exceptionally clear night, so there weren't visible clouds in the foreseeable atmosphere from the ground).
They all moved in unison, same speed, same distance apart.
I couldn't see the craft, just the lights from below. It was extremely high in the sky, it must have been absolutely huge. It would explain why they all moved together as one.
