Saw a bright flying object in the southern sky seemingly tapered at both ends flying east to west at a low altitude.

Friday night at 9:25 I was driving south on CO-93, just west of Leyden Rock and south of Coal Creek Canyon Rd, when I saw one bright flying object, orb-ish and seemingly tapered at both ends, flying east to west at a low altitude, easily in commercial airspace below the clouds. I pulled up FlightAware immediately and saw no commercial aircraft in the vicinity.
The object was very bright and relatively large, easily distinguishable from stars or satellites. I had it in my sight for less than 30 seconds as I lost sight after it flew over the nearby foothills.
