I just received a new iPhone. After set up I went outside my front door to test the camera. I saw something in the screen and looked up

I noticed an object in the sky . We live near the airport but this wasn’t a plane. It was stationary then moved to the side. This was the best of the two pics. I went in and called my wife to the front door . I showed her the pictures. We went back out and it was gone. The whole event took less than two minutes. I didn’t know what to make of it. I sent the picture to my brother. After he examined it for a minute he advised me to report it. I was afraid to be wrong about it and thought there must be some explanation . I have decided to report it because the image quality is very good. This picture was taken October 12 2021 at 9:00 pm. The bright light in the pic was a star.
