It was like a ball of light that moved fast and disappeared into the clouds

I was fascinated with the formation of the approaching storm cell and thought it would make for a cool picture. I notice the light while taking the second picture and as I attempt to take another It ascended up into the clouds. I'm curious to know if it's speed might can be calculated. Both pictures were taken within one minute. I paused to change filters which might have taken 20 seconds or so.
The object in question is to the lower left of the very bright street light in the first picture, and above the street light in the second picture.
Side note: not Venus or Jupiter
