A star that turned off...

It was about 1am and I went outside to smoke on the terrace in the garden. From the back of the house there’s nothing but meadows a river and lakes and at night it’s really dark as there’s no street lights etc as it’s extremely rural. I turned the outside light on and was smoking, and about 2mins into smoking I look directly above me / up at the stars, and one was much brighter (about 30%) than all the others. Like a white blue colour. As I was looking at it, it turned off like. It was switched off. The light (shrank) minimalized inwards and turned off, so I looked down and thought “huh that doesn’t normally happen” then looked back and it was in a different place in the sky. Same area, but not where it was before. Same light intensity, same brightest star. Then it turned off again in the same way. When it did, this horseshoes shaped spiral, light trace, in an amber colour, like light trail, flash up and then faded. I then looked straight ahead, not understanding what I just saw and over the fields / horizon I saw a shooting star, but not as bright and much faster shoot from my left to right away from me over the fields and over the horizon then fade away.
