blue & red lights like car indicators with brighter lighthouse like light - slowly move S - hover then increase speed moving W,N,NE

While smoking a cigarette in the backyard approx. 5 - 6:30pm Saturday 15/07/2023 - I observed an object east of my position in Royal Park - above the Adelaide Hills(20 - 30km away)- It caught my attention because of it's altitude; it seemed rather high for a helicopter. There were 4 x lights flashing red & blue like car indicators - one light to each corner of a narrow(flat) rectangle shaped object; Every now & then; a brighter white light would flash like a light house(3 - 5 secs). Appearing Helicopter like as it moved slowly southward; it then stopped and hovered for about 8 - 12 secs. It then moved again slowly in a southern direction(4 - 6 secs) and then stopped again hovering(5 - 8 secs). It then began to travel west towards me(2 - 3 secs); and then bank to a northern direction while increasing speed( 2 - 3 times faster than a standard commercial passenger jet). It then adjusted its heading a final time while increasing speed again; to a north east direction leaving a plume in its wake - disappearing below the Tree & roof line of my neighbours property. It didn't seem to change its altitude during the event. Incredible
