NARRATIVE

I was star gazing and as I went to turn around to go back inside, I noticed a very bright object stationary above the tree line over my left shoulder. It looked like a bright white light/orb. It was brighter than any star in the sky. It then rapidly began to descend diagonally, and flashed with a green light once turned and faced towards it, fully noticing it. It shifted direction and broke eye sight below the treeline and nearby buildings for a few seconds before I spotted it again, very quickly moving suddenly horizontally and then it was gone from my eye sight.
After about 15-20 minutes, an airplane showed up. No clue if military or not.
