Flash of light, then a light moving very erratic

When out for a smoke, looked up and a flash of light caught my eye right above me then right where flash happened what I thought was a star immediately started moving south bound. It was very slow moving then fast then it would stop then it would move a little east or west an repeated this pattern until I lost sight of it. Plus maybe 4 days ago I watched 2 stars next to each other start moving at the same time and speed for a distance. If you held out your hand they moved about 10" then stopped, my brother looked them up in his star app and they where confirmed to be stars! I can ask him to look up the names again but I cant remember them. I know I watched them change positions in the sky i was not seeing an illusion, which has happened before where I thought I star moved for a split second but it's just my body not able to stand perfectly still. I have also seen a green light over Gardnerville that my Dad witnessed, it was like it knew we seen it and it hid behind Jobs peak then it popped out as if to check if we where still looking then shot back behind the peak. The green light was probably 10 years ago though I'm not sure if any of this helps but I had to say something seeing how I watched 2 separate odd occurrences in less than a week.
