NARRATIVE

Happened to be outside a little after 8pm CDST in Topeka KS. The object seemed large, black, wing shaped with many light areas, possibly street light reflections. Not bright lights. Brighter than starlight.
No sound, no bird sounds, no engine sounds. Only had a pocket flashlight on me with 130 lumens. The object was out of range, flashlight didn't help.
Object might be 300 feet above me??? The night was breezy, kind of moved like a "balloon" riding the wind currents.
The object was out of sight in about 20 seconds. Not enough time to get a larger lumen flashlight.Object seemed to be traveling SSW.  It wasn't a flock of birds, but that could also be used to describe the size of the black wing.
Looking at the object as a whole, it looked like the shape was gossamer with 40 or more reflection areas/lights and black.
