As I was driving home from work I noticed a green or light blue colored light/orb in the sky not a drone.rapid movement high altitude.

On 10/15/2023 at approximately 0723 Hours I noticed the light by chance as I merged from buena vista road in Ione, Ca onto highway 88 going east towards Jackson, Ca . The sun was bright and there was some condensation trails in the sky . As I admired the sky for a brief moment I noticed a small star like light that was light green or blue, possibly both . I noticed the odd star like object was bouncing and at first I thought it was a drone but realized it was not because the aerodynamics of the object was wrong and the altitude of the object was rather high in the clouds . It bounced and reversed up and down and then left and right he and would come to a sudden stop . The object then shot up into a condensation cloud left by an aircraft in the sky that was already dispersing . I attempted to video the object but only caught slight glimpses of it that are hard to differentiate on film . The object seemed to be flying/hovering over Jackson,ca or it could have been further east in the foothills as it was hard to judge distance . The sighting only lasted a few moments and then it was gone . I saw no trace of the object the rest of my ride home . For being very bright already outside I ruled out stars and the movement of the object and altitude rules out drones.
