A very bright glowing white orb passed near our house and jetted into infinity without making a sound.

My wife and I observed a brightly glowing orb 1-3 feet in diameter moving slowly (30 mph) from east to west about a hundred feet off the ground at 7:04 PM. Immediately after passing overhead it suddenly disappeared, seemingly jetting into infinity without making a sound. Streetlights and night lights are restricted in our area due a nearby telescope on Mt. Hopkins making night viewing optimal. We are accustomed to watching for aircraft in the night sky on a regular basis and frequently use the "Flightradar" app on my iPhone to identify aircraft and helicopters in our region. At first glance we thought it was a drone, but a complete lack of noise and the round, brightly-glowing orb shape with undefined edges were unfamiliar. The floresent 'glow' it gave off was as bright as burning posphorous, much brighter than a floodlight or car headlight. It was difficult to determine the exact height above the ground because we were uncertain about the diameter of the sphere. We are accustomed to viewing, satellites, planets, meteorites, aircraft of all types. Most of our lives we have lived in the presence of coyotes. Just before the orb appeared, we heard the loudest outburst of multiple coyotes howling ever experienced.
