Bright white light that I thought was a planet. Moved to the southeast and suddenly disappeared completely

NARRATIVE

At approximately 6:30 am PST driving west into La Grande, Oregon, I saw a large bright white light that I assumed was a planet. I pointed it out to my granddaughter who stated it wasn’t a planet and was moving. The sky was completely light and no other stars were noted. It appeared to move to the southwest towards us and then just suddenly completely disappeared. No other object was there, it was just gone.
