NARRATIVE

I work near a small airport, always we always have a lot of air traffic.
Myself and two of my co-workers were chatting before leaving and an amber orb appeared and traveled over our heads at what seemed to be a high altitude.
There we no FAA lights.
I wanted to explain it as a Chinese lantern but was moving very quickly.  No sound observed.
