NARRATIVE

I was driving north bound on the wantagh parkway heading home around 2:30 am,when i felt a slight hum i couldnt even hear the radio and then noticed an extremly bright red light all over the road,it wasnt a spot light because everything in a 100 yard radius was bright red,i had to get close to the wheel to look up and i saw this  bright red diamond  shaped object going across the parkway very slow,and about 200 hundred feet up in the air and heading upwards,and the higher it whent the brighter it got. And then it was gone as if it was never there,im sure the people in the other car in front of me saw the same thing too, because they slowed down to take a look.
it looked like it was taking off from a nearby park where kids play baseball,i havent told anybody about this till now
