NARRATIVE

About 19.5 degrees above the horizon in the Southern sky.  Without perspective on distance, appearded to be appoximately 5 times the size of Mars. Alternated 4 colors per second - white, green, red, blue. As I walked down Kerr Parkway, in the direction of the object, a tree obscured my view.  I went around to a higher elevation, but could not regain sighting.
 The light had a bright yet soft quality to it; similar to something lit from within.  Not highly refective like the moon, and not glaring as are aircraft headlights.
