Peter, in reference to the gentleman who critcized your site, I would like to point out that the database you provide is unprecedented. You do a wonderful job.

What may seem to be insignificant sightings now may later prove to be extremely important. The importance of your database is its historical nature and will be used by others when we are long gone. I for one appreciate your hard work and diligence. 
Please don't let the naysayers get you down. For that matter if the gentleman doesn't like your work nobody is forcing him to visit your site.  He could always publish his own, but I doubt that he is willing to commit himself to such labor. Good for you sir, and thanks.
