It was around 8:PM and I was walking home,it was a full moon but something made me lookup, there was no noise, but an object came in front of the moon like a fat black cigar, and when it passed, I could see the moon thru the windows of the object.

NARRATIVE

This object was not an airplane, it had no propellar or wings. It was moving slowly. I can still see this to this day.  
I was about 11-12 years old.  I am now 70 years old and this has stayed with me all my life. 
I hurried home and told no one what I had seen, but I never forgot it. 
I wish I had written down the date and time, but I know it was in the fall.
We have assigned an arbitrary date above.  PD
