lights over apache community

on that evening, four of us had got together a friends house, in the southern part of town, we standing out in front the house, looking southeast, we then noticed a single light, in the tree line, this was unusual, because the light was about 10 miles from any roads and was atop a rugged mountain, as we continued looking the light then rose about 20 feet above the tree line, then about six lights turned on one by one, from right to left, and rose even higher, the lights then turned off left to right, we did not see any object.
year after year, I have heard the same and similiar accounts from different people in the area.
Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD
