I turned around and glanced up at the black sky and saw a white round object larger than a normal star sloping down very slowly. I thought to myself, "this must be a shooting star".

NARRATIVE

All of a sudden it turned blue, and then purple.  Darted upwards and then zipped to the left really fast where I could no longer see because my view was blocked by trees.
