NARRATIVE

I saw a huge flash of light outside, ran downstairs and outside...something HUGE and DARK passed directly right over my head, with a great rumbling sound, like a whooshing...went right overhead and headed towards the south shore, towards  No Mans island.  My boyfriend was in the bathroom and he saw the flash and heard the rumble. I posted on FaceBook, and a woman immediately replied that she had just seen and heard the same thing in Edgartown.  Edgaratown and Aquinnah are both on the south shore...about 20 miles lay between them.  
This occurrance really shook me up.  Someone else mentioned that this is the second time in a month someone mentioned strange lights in the sky over Aquinnah.  It's very strange indeed.  We are New Englanders, and don't believe in this kind of stuff.  However, it really did happen, whatever it was.
