NARRATIVE

I was standing outside, walking home from my neighbors house from a late night. I stopped and looked up, to what I thought was a bright star. I kept looking at it, and it kept getting brighter.  Eventually it got very bright then vanished into complete blackness.
Possible flare from Iridium satellite?  PD
